Product Applications

Polymer Synthesis Monomers

Copolymerized with butadiene and styrene, it can be made into styrene-butadiene latex, which has important applications in tire cord bonding, coatings, adhesives and other fields. Poly(2-vinylpyridine) synthesized from it can be used in membrane separation technology, ion exchange resins, sensors and drug delivery systems.

Pharmaceutical Intermediates

It is an intermediate between the vasodilator betadine hydrochloride and the silicosis treatment drug Kesipine, and has application value in the pharmaceutical industry.

Photography and Polymer Materials

It is used in the production of the antihalation layer of photographic films, and as a raw material for polymer electrolytes, it has applications in the field of functional polymer materials.

Organic Synthetic Raw Materials

As an important monomer in organic synthesis, it is used to prepare a variety of pyridine derivatives and functional materials.
