Vitamin B12 is used as a nutritional additive in all animal species in the form of cyanocobalamin. Participates in the body's protein metabolism, improves plant protein utilization, protects the liver, and is necessary for normal blood cell generation, growth and maintenance of metabolism. Plant-based feeds are usually not included and need to be added additionally. Suitable for pigs, poultry, ruminants and aquatic animals. When lacking, animals will suffer from poor growth, anemia, and low feed conversion rate.
