On January 21, Hongda Group held its 2024 annual summary and recognition conference in Yishui, Shandong. Chairman Shi Liliang, General Manager Shi Weize of the Food and Real Estate divisions, General Manager Shi Haoyuan of the Industrial division, Deputy General Manager Wu Guangchuan, Financial Director Wang Gang, and more than 400 outstanding representatives and employees gathered to review the past year’s journey, look ahead to the development blueprint, and recognize the teams and individuals who had performed exceptionally well.
Recognizing excellence, setting examples and inspiring everyone to strive forward
The meeting opened with the solemn and stirring national anthem. All participants stood and paid tribute with respect. Hosted by Deputy General Manager Wu Guangchuan, the meeting heard Financial Director Wang Gang read the Decision on Recognizing the Advanced Collectives and Advanced Individuals of 2024. The decision encouraged all employees to follow role models, set advanced examples as their goals, carry forward a fighting spirit, unite, innovate and continually improve both individual capability and team cohesion, contributing to the Group’s sustained and stable development in the new year.
Representatives of the advanced workers and outstanding management cadres came to the stage to speak. They expressed their deep gratitude for the platform Hongda provides for realizing personal value and said that they would continue to work hard, stay grounded, be pioneers, and set an example, contributing greater strength to the company’s development with firmer resolve and enthusiasm.
Looking back on the journey and drawing the blueprint for tomorrow
At the meeting, General Manager Shi Haoyuan delivered the 2024 summary report for the Industrial division. He said that over the past year the division had actively advanced the transformation of old and new growth drivers, welcomed suggestions from across the company, and saved more than RMB 30 million in energy and material consumption through technical improvements and employees’ rationalization proposals. At the same time, it optimized its workforce structure, focused closely on safety and environmental protection, reformed its sales system, and reduced costs by every possible means. These efforts enabled the company to move forward against the trend: operating revenue increased 30% year on year, the company ranked first on Yishui County’s local fiscal contribution list, it ranked 71st among the 2024 Top 100 Chinese Private Petroleum and Chemical Enterprises by sales revenue, and it ranked 211th among China’s Top 500 Petroleum and Chemical Enterprises in 2024.
General Manager Shi Weize delivered the 2024 summary report for the Food and Real Estate divisions. He said that the year’s work broadly met expectations and maintained a steady upward trend. First, operations made new progress: real-estate projects under construction advanced steadily, while existing projects increased efforts to reduce inventory and strengthen marketing; the second Liangcang store progressed on schedule and was expected to begin trial operations in May; sales of the Shibu Yan flagship product continued to rise, and the market share of the new 38° premium product gradually increased; noodle sales grew in both domestic and overseas markets, with online and offline channels developing together and producing clear benefits. Second, quality achieved new breakthroughs: the liquor business developed an innovative “five highs and one long” brewing process and an original “1151” storage model, and its product range won the province’s only premium sesame-aroma liquor recognition. Third, the brand made new achievements: the liquor division successfully held collective sealing, Mount Tai blessing and Shibu Yan new-product launch events; the 38° premium product won the 2024 Qilu Liquor Body Design Gold Award; a series of products were named one of Linyi’s “Six Golden Flowers of Yimeng Local Liquor” by the Linyi Federation of Industry and Commerce; and the company was recognized as a deputy-chairman unit of the Liquor Industry Committee of the Linyi Food Industry Association.
Staying true to the original aspiration and setting out on a new journey
Finally, Chairman Shi Liliang delivered an enthusiastic summary speech and expressed his gratitude to every employee who had worked diligently. He said that the Group’s achievements today were possible because of everyone’s effort and dedication. Looking ahead to 2025, he drew a clear blueprint for the Group’s development and pointed out the way forward.
Chairman Shi emphasized that talent is the primary productive force of an enterprise and that, beyond creating profits, the company’s key mission is to develop people. Hongda must take every measure and spare no effort to cultivate talent, especially versatile people who think independently, innovate bravely, take responsibility and deliver real results. Through talent development, every employee should have a path to progress, an opportunity to grow and a stage on which to accomplish something.
Chairman Shi stressed that every task in 2025 must be implemented firmly and that execution, work and implementation must all be in place. Management cadres and supervisory departments must go deep into the work, keep a close eye on it and hold on firmly. The company must improve detail management and process control, further raise the quality and efficiency of work, and make up for shortcomings in implementation.
Chairman Shi called for stronger assessments—not only to find potential in costs, technology and savings, but also to find potential in people’s thinking. The company must also guard the high-pressure line of safety and environmental protection. All employees should consciously, proactively and willingly follow the company’s rules and regulations, truly understanding what deserves respect, observing the rules, knowing their responsibilities and strengthening implementation. The goal is to put systems into people’s minds, responsibilities into their hearts, tighten the valve of safety and environmental-risk management, and turn the risk line into a line of safety.
The drums of the new year’s struggle have sounded.
