On the morning of August 23, the 2024 “Charity Education Assistance · Golden Autumn Dream” grant ceremony for new university students in Yishui County was held at Yishui No. 1 High School. County leaders, representatives of the civil affairs and education authorities, Hongda Group Finance Director Wang Gang, representatives of charitable organizations and the assisted students attended. The ceremony was hosted by Xu Zaiming, president of the county charity federation.
Scholarships were presented to student representatives, who delivered words of thanks. Finance Director Wang Gang said that supporting education benefits both the present and the future. As a local enterprise, Hongda Group has a duty to participate and will continue increasing its support for education and contributing to Yishui’s educational and charitable development.
Deputy County Mayor Wang Haijuan thanked Hongda Group for its generous donation and offered good wishes to the students. She called on government departments to work together on education assistance; caring enterprises and social organizations to continue supporting poverty-relief initiatives; and assisted students to turn the care of the Party, government and society into motivation, cherish their learning environment, build skills and return to society and their hometown in the future.
Xu Zaiming emphasized that the donation offered warmth, conveyed love and created hope. He encouraged students to remember the leaders’ advice, cherish their hard-won opportunities, study diligently and repay the care of their parents, teachers and society through concrete action.
Since 2017, Hongda Group has carried out education-assistance activities for eight consecutive years, supporting more than 1,600 university students with cumulative donations exceeding RMB 8 million.
Hongda Group will continue carrying forward the spirit of selfless dedication and willingness to help others, fulfilling its social responsibility while developing its business and contributing new strength to Yishui’s economy and education.
