Autumn is the season of harvest, and September 1 brought the annual celebration for Hongda Group employees’ children who had been admitted to universities. As admission letters arrived across the country, General Manager Shi Liliang, Deputy General Manager Wu Guangchuan and Finance Director Wang Gang met with the students and their parents.
This year, 19 students reached the undergraduate admission line, including two who entered first-class universities under China’s 211 and 985 projects.
At the meeting, student representative Liu Da said that his success in the college entrance examination and admission to university would not have been possible without his parents’ years of hard work. He would study harder, improve his abilities and lay a solid foundation for serving the country, repaying his parents with excellent results.
Employee representative Fan Enwei said that the company has always cared about education and employees’ lives, greatly strengthening employees’ sense of belonging. As Hongda continues to grow, he would stay committed to his position, work hard and hope that his child could one day join the company and contribute to its development.
General Manager Shi Liliang warmly congratulated the employees’ children and thanked their parents for cultivating outstanding talents and for their quiet, dedicated service to the company. He encouraged the students not to relax at university, to develop the habit of lifelong learning, participate in school and community activities, make friends, build professional skills and broaden their knowledge of geography, history and other subjects. He also hoped that, after realizing their own value, they would remember their parents’ care and repay them with filial gratitude.
After hearing the leaders’ advice, the students said they would work hard, improve their social skills and repay their hometown and society, living up to the expectations of their parents and the company. General Manager Shi Liliang then presented each student with a RMB 3,000 scholarship, followed by a group photo.
